 Studies (CENES) is delighted to co-sponsor the forthcoming conference organ
 ized by <a href="http://bghra.org/">The Black German Heritage & Research As
 sociation</a> (BGHRA)\, entitled All Black Lives Matter: Black Germany and 
 Beyond.</p><p>In her role as founder and president of BGHRA\, <a href="http
 s://cenes.ubc.ca/profile/rosemarie-pena/">Dr. Rosemarie Peña</a>\, Adjunct 
 Professor of German Studies in CENES\, will co-produce this year’s conferen
 ce. BGHRA is a non-profit and inclusive organization\, which documents and 
 supports activities and promotes interdisciplinary scholarship\, related to
  the historic and contemporary presence of Black people in Germany and Blac
 k Germans in the United States.</p><p>The conference will take place virtua
 lly from February 17 - 20\, 2022\, and registration is free and open to the
