 s (DH) mixer. It is an opportunity for DH scholars and students from across
  campus to meet colleagues\, talk tools\, brainstorm ideas and network with
  others who use digital tools to explore and visualize their research. This
  month we will be featuring a project showcase with time for a Q&A afterwar

 Twitterature” projects that used Twitter to narrate Dostoevsky’s novels: @R
 odionTweets and @YakovGolyadkin. Originally planned as public outreach proj
 ects\, both had unexpected results in the realms of teaching and research. 
 The presentation will discuss the nuts and bolts of doing these kinds of pr
 ojects\, what we learned\, the impact on a public engagement level and pecu
 liarities of Twitter as a platform for creative work\, what benefits Twitte
 rature brings to the literature classroom and how to use it in your teachin
 g\, and the surprising research questions that emerged from the projects.</
 p><p>The event is part of the Pixellating Project Showcase speaker series h
 osted by the UBC library Research Commons.</p>
