Students and all members of the UBC community are welcome to meet Thomas Schneider, the Consul General of Switzerland in Vancouver.
Thomas Schneider, born in Bern, Switzerland, is an experienced diplomat with a federal diploma in business administration. Throughout his career with the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), he has held various diplomatic roles, including in Shanghai, New York, and Lagos. He has been serving as Consul General in Vancouver since September 2023. His objective, while here, is to foster collaboration in science, technology, education, and culture between Switzerland and Western Canada.

- 2:35pm – 3:15pm: Presentation by Thomas Schneider, the Consul General of Switzerland in Vancouver
- 3:15pm – 3:30: Moderated Q&A session
- 3:30pm – 4:00pm: Any remaining questions and connecting
