Come celebrate Sámi Week with the UBC Scandinavian and Nordic Student Association and UBC Nordic Studies!
For this event, students will be learning to create traditional Sámi bandweaving. This form of weaving has been done throughout Sápmi for thousands of years, and was often implemented to create traditional shoe bands. Come join us to learn about culture through handicraft!
