Dr. Katherine Bowers has received funding from the Public Humanities Hub for 2020-21 for the “Eurasia Research Cluster,” a group of UBC-V and UBC-O scholars from 22 different departments who share a research interest in Eurasia, the landmass encompassing Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Siberia, and Mongolia. The PHH cluster grant will support an interdisciplinary speaker series, workshops, and community-building activities.
