On Wednesday, October 11th, join UBC Nordic Studies and the UBC SNSA in welcoming back best-selling author of the Gone Viking travel series, Bill Arnott.
Freshly off releasing his latest book, Gone Viking III: The Holy Grail, Bill is back at UBC to once again provide a humorous, vivid, and enlightening account of his travel to the Nordic region.
For his two previous travelogues, Bill was granted a fellowship by London’s Royal Geographical Society. In his third installment, Bill “…takes his readers on a new and unique adventure as he attempts to unravel the mysteries of fabled odysseys and legendary travellers, from seafaring Scandinavians to druidic Celts, goddesses, gods, and Arthurian knights”.
