The UBC Scandinavian and Nordic Cultural Association has invited two Sami descendants to speak about Sami histories (in Canada), their challenges throughout the past century, and what it is like to be a Sami. We wish to raise awareness and protect the endangered Sami culture, and we hope you will join us in this effort.
