Title: “Media Inventories of the German Nineteenth Century”

Abstract: Launched in 2018, Media Inventories (https://mediainventories.sites.olt.ubc.ca/) is a research group working on intersections between various cultural techniques of collection, preservation, and distribution in 19th century German studies. This year’s meeting, hosted by the Department of Central, Eastern and Northern European Studies with support from the Public Humanities Hub (PHH) at UBC, will be prefaced by a roundtable introducing the project as a whole to the public. Featuring Sean Franzel (U Missouri) and Petra McGillen (Dartmouth College) in dialogue with Ilinca Iurascu (CENES).
