In memoriam: John Buffinga (PhD ’83)

The Department is saddened to hear of the passing of PhD alumnus John Buffinga (1954-2019). John completed his PhD in Germanic Studies at UBC in 1983 and was an Associate Professor of German at Memorial University. John’s obituary is available online. The Department sends its condolences to John’s family.
