A poster exhibit featuring photos by participants of #enjoysweden is currently being displayed in the southwest hallway of Buchanan Tower, 2nd floor.
In late 2012, the hashtag #enjoysweden was started in the photo app Instagram to collect users’ best shots of Sweden, and users posted over 61,744 images. At the end of each month, 100 of the best shots were selected, and an independent jury chose 20 favorites.
The exhibit is presented by the Scandinavian Studies program: Kyle Frackman, Lena Karlström, Jens Monrad, Thomas Salumets and Geoffrey Winthrop-Young and is made possible by the Swedish Institute and the Embassy of Sweden in Ottawa.
