After the Council for European Studies Conference in Madrid in June 2019, Ph.D. student Sabine Zimmermann was asked by Professor Julie Allen of Brigham Young University to take part in an interview about Jenny Erpenbeck’s novel Go, Went, Gone. The interview was drawn up as a three-way conversation about the novel between Allen, Zimmermann, and Chunjie Zhang.
The interview is published in the October issue of EuropeNow, a monthly research magazine by the Council for European Studies. It is part of a special feature on forced migration, Narration on the Move.
