On Monday, January 27 – Thursday, January 30, there will be a number of events on UBC campus as part of the symposium commemorating the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. The symposium includes panel discussions and presentations, and ends with performances of Pasażerka (The Passenger) by the UBC Opera ensemble over the weekend.
This symposium is co-hosted by the Department of Central, Eastern and Northern European Studies (Modern European Studies program), the UBC Witnessing Auschwitz International Seminar (UBC Go Global), and the UBC Opera Ensemble.
