This past week, Dr. Katherine Bowers participated in the annual ASEEES conference, the largest annual conference in Slavic Studies worldwide. She organized two linked panels on the concept of “Under” and gave a paper on “Deep Time and the Potential of the Geologic Imaginary in Obruchev’s Plutonia.” Dr. Bowers also spoke on a lively roundtable about the uses and potential of Twitter for academics.
