Dr. Kyle Frackman has published a chapter on professional and amateur documentary film in East Germany.
The chapter, “The Queer Cipher in East German Documentary: In Sachen H. und acht anderer (In the Matter of H. and Eight Others, 1972) and Queer Activist Super 8 Films,” is part of the anthology Documenting Socialism: East German Documentary Cinema edited by Seán Allan (University of St. Andrews) and Sebastian Heiduschke (Oregon State University).
