Image Attribution: Witnessing Auschwitz
Dr. Bożena Karwowska has been invited as an international guest scholar to the Silesian University in Katowice, a European City of Science, 2024.
As a part of the European Union program, “One University – Many Opportunities”, and in addition to academic lectures on the relationship between people and land, Dr. Bożena Karwowska (CENES) is teaching a graduate seminar: “The War, People and Land”, and inquiry into the impact of the Auschwitz camp complex on the region’s ecosystem.
