Dr. Bożena Karwowska, alongside team members Dasha Prykhodko and Nina Weng (UBC undergraduate student, History), has been granted a UBC Vancouver Open Educational Resources Fund of $23,872 for her project on Holocausts and the Rise of Antisemitism.
The proposal was highly appreciated by the adjudication committee for addressing a current resource gap in Holocaust education, and for being helpful in combatting misinformation in this area. It was also recognized for aligning with the needs and perspectives of the student body, and for being designed with accessibility in mind.
The awarded fund can be utilized for course use and beyond.
