PhD student Patricia Milewski has received a SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship for the next three years. These awards allow students to focus on their research and contribute to steady progress toward their degrees. Patricia’s research project is titled “Flowers of Parnassus: A Critical Survey and Analysis of Two 17th-Century German Songbooks by Gertrud Möller and Johann Sebastiani.” The research combines Patricia’s skills and interest in literary analysis and music. She was one of 25 students from UBC to receive this award in the 2019 competition.
