Bauhaus University, a respected research university located in Weimar, Germany, is offering two exchange spots for UBC Faculty of Arts undergraduate or graduate students.

Key facts

  • Two exchange spots available for UBC undergraduate or graduate students as part of the Study Mobility agreement between Bauhaus University and UBC Faculty of Arts.
  • Take courses across a variety of disciplines in German or in English.
  • While on exchange, undergraduate students are registered in 15 credits at UBC and pay their normal UBC tuition rate. Transfer up to 15 credits back to UBC.
  • Graduate Students are eligible if full-time enrolled in a UBC program in W2022.
  • The selected students will be required to register with Go Global and pay the Go Global fee of $415.
  • All other travel and living expenses will be covered by the students.

Eligibility

  • Strong demonstrated interest in German language and culture studies.
  • German B1 minimum language requirement, ability and willingness to take courses in German.
  • UBC Faculty of Arts undergraduate or graduate students.
  • Minimum 70% cumulative average.
  • Minimum 70% average in W2022 Term 1.
  • Registered in full-time studies in Term 1 and Term 2 of W2022.
  • Completed Faculty of Arts writing requirement prior to participation in the summer program.
