The Witnessing Auschwitz 2019 student conference will include student panels centered on the research they conducted in Poland. The Witnessing Auschwitz Seminar is an incredible opportunity in which students from UBC are able to participate in a multi-disciplinary program that allows them to explore the complicated memory of the Holocaust and the context in which it affects the present.
This year’s conference will also include a Ziegler Lecture by Dr. Jacek Lachendro, Deputy Head of Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum Research Centre.
