Alexander Košenina, Professor of modern German literature at Leibniz University Hannover since 2008; from 2004-08 Professor at the University of Bristol. Author of various groundbreaking studies, focused on 18th century and 21st century literature, including handbooks, with studies at the intersection of society, criminality, anthropology and literature. From January to March 2019 holds an appointment as Max Kade Professor at the University of California at Davis.
