Brian (he/him) is an MA Student in Germanic Studies at the University of British Columbia. He previously completed his BA (Hons.) in German, English, and Italian at the University of Toronto.


Research

Brian’s research interests lie in 20th- and 21st-century German literatures. He is most interested in the intersections between queer theory and German literature, specifically looking at the literary and cultural productions of a post-1945 German-speaking world. In the past, Brian has also worked on medieval German literature and it’s relation to contemporary queer theories.
