Throughout February 2024, the Cinematheque will host a film series dedicated to Ukrainian cinema.
The series is curated by Alina Senchenko, a Ukrainian artist working and living in Vancouver, and co-presented with the Maple Hope Foundation, a Canadian not-for-profit organization committed to helping people suffering from the war in Ukraine. 50% of ticket proceeds will benefit the Maple Hope Foundation.
The series runs from February 1st to February 22nd and features classic, modern and contemporary productions, among them many award winning films. Click here to find information on the films, their screenings and special events.
