Ashley Samsone and Faculty of Arts Dean Clare Haru Crowston
On March 30, Nordic Studies Minor Ashley Samsone was recognized by Faculty of Arts Dean Clare Haru Crowston as an Outstanding Student Leader, supported by 26 faculty, staff and student nominators.
“Ashley is an awesome creative power for good, serving as a leader on the CENES Advisory Council, in the UBC Nordic Studies program and all across the Faculty of Arts,” said Central, Eastern and Northern European Studies Department Head Dr. David Gramling. “I can’t imagine CENES without her.”
Ashley will also be joining the CENES administrative staff full-time in mid-April. Congratulations, Ashley!
