The CENES Undergraduate German Curriculum Revision (UGGCR) project was awarded an Advancing Educational Renewal Grant administered by the UBC Provost’s office. The grant totals $49,000 ($32,000 cash; $17,000 in-kind contributions) and will support expert consultations, workshops, graduate student research assistants, among other initiatives designed to reimagine our undergraduate German curriculum. The grant writing team consists of Drs. Kyle Frackman, Jason Lieblang, Ervin Malakaj (PI), and Caroline Rieger.
UGGCR was initiated in September 2019 under the leadership of Dr. Malakaj. Since January 2021, it is chaired by Dr. David Gramling.
